One of the less publicised aspects of Apsearch — idibu’s aggregated CV search product — is that it also allows you to search during the advert distribution process.

That’s pretty handy!

The only additional information you have to add during the post process is an optional postcode (for radial searching), and of course some keywords. The keywords field however is intelligent — it learns the keywords you like to use, and over time will automatically fill them out for you, using the advert title and description to work out what it is your searching for.

It also provides excellent local search — so if you dont want to search remote CV databases, you can at least get the benefit of searching all the applicants that have been processed by idibu previously (imagine the great reuse of your marketing budget here…).

idibu MD Steve Walker has blogged about the feature, and also created a 3 minute video to give you a quick overview of Apsearch, and how it fits together to simultaneously post and search — you can check out his blog over on our partner/developer www.idibuworld.com website, or jump straight to the video below.

idibu has launched www.idibuworld.com, a partner and developer portal with an international focus.

idibu Managing Director Steve Walker recently relocated to Bangkok to be in easy reach of Hong Kong and Singapore amongst other countries in the APAC region, and www.idibuworld.com is a platform to allow partners and developers to work with idibu as it expands beyond Europe.

For partners, the new portal allows them to manage whitelabel accounts, to view usage data of their own clients, and be able to manage referrals passed through to the idibu team.

For developers there is a full API documentation library, plus full technical support for anyone looking to take the idibu functions and code to make it their own.

In an industry first, idibu has released the idibu Integration Kit (IIK) that allows third party developers to add posting destinations to the idibu board network. Not only does it mean idibu can expand into territories quickly, but developers are free to take the idibu posting engine and to use it beyond the work of advert distribution. The IIK is available from inside the new portal.

Get your partner/developer account at www.idibuworld.com now!

What is Apsearch?
Apsearch is aggregated CV database searching. That means it performs searches of multiple CV databases simultaneously, without you having to even login.

And why should I care?
Well, Apsearch really cuts back your time spent on admin and improves how you work as the searches bring back one candidate list for you to work with – email, create a shortlist or remove the candidate from consideration. Again (like with Aptrack) we give you a ‘sneak preview’ of CVs and can send them back into Aptrack or your Front Office software.

Cool, anything else?
Yep, it allows you to set ‘Watchdogs’ that you can let off the leash by saving searches and have them run automatically every day/week whilst they fetch emails direct to your inbox with the new results. Tags and notes mean that you set how to label candidates to make them easier to find.

When’s it out again?
November 1st, 2011. If you’d like a FREE trial of Apsearch or any of our services, click here or email hello@idibu.com NOW!

Recruitment software developer idibu & Safestyle UK today announced a deal that should see the largest independent providers of double-glazing in the UK reduce time spent on administrative recruitment tasks by up to 50% by multi-posting all their vacancies online

Recruitment software developer idibu & Safestyle UK today announced a deal that should see the largest independent providers of double-glazing in the UK reduce time spent on administrative recruitment tasks by up to 50% by multi-posting all their vacancies online.

Over the coming year Safestyle UK will use Adpost HR from idibu, to post all their vacancies online. Time spent doing this will be vastly reduced because Adpost HR allows users to post to multiple websites whilst only using one form, thus negating the need to login/out of multiple sites & re-write the advert over & over again – with Adpost HR you write the ad once, press send and your done.

Multi-posting software gets staff away from their keyboards and back onto other tasks. It further reduces admin time by giving users/team leaders ability to set default responses to certain fields, create templates and show/hide extra fields.

Adpost HR also includes candidate management plus reporting software meaning you can run weekly & monthly overall activity reports plus 11 others (downloadable at any time) which tell you exactly which sites are producing the best candidates. Automated email responses mean you half the time spent communicating with applicants.

For a week-long, FREE trial, click here, call 0800 311 2750 or email hello@idibu.com.

For the remainder of 2011, if you sign up to Aptrack we'll throw in Apfilter absolutely FREE.

For the remainder of 2011, if you sign up to Aptrack we’ll throw in Apfilter absolutely FREE.

Apfilter adds bespoke screening across multiple-postings as well as creating searchable databases & the filtering of ‘best-match’ candidates to vacancies. The offer ends at midnight, December 31st 2011.

MD Steve Walker explained our reasons behind the offer:
“We’re keen to create as wide an audience as possible for Apfilter to really show the advantages it gives. As always with idibu, it’s about saving time — both getting to your best matched applicants quicker, and also cutting out inappropriate candidates in a candidate rich environment. It’s unique in the market and we know that using Apfilter can help our clients get an edge on their competitors.”

Some of the benefits of Apfilter:

Find your strongest candidates quickly
Get access to your top rated candidates in seconds. Set up filters so that high ranking applicants are emailed to you immediately and marked as you want them to ensure you don’t miss them — ’10/10 candidate received for position X’.

Filter out applicant noise
Filter out the growing amount of non-suitable applicants. It takes seconds for you to create and seconds for the candidate to complete — the end result is it saves you hours and days to not have to go through 100’s of candidates that are completely irrelevant.

Search your applicant pool
As Apfilter allows you to search by the very questions you yourself set in your surveys, you can now search deeper and more accurately than ever before. For example, ‘show applicants with over 5 years experience’ then ‘everyone living within commutable distance’ and add to that ‘all candidates with relevant professional qualifications’. With 100% accuracy, ApFilter allows you to create bespoke candidate profiling like Linkedin or iProfile.

Make full use of your data
Using our API you can grab all the new structured profiling data you have on your candidates and use it in your own databases.

Increase brand awareness
Apfilter is completely customisable, allowing you to create screening pages that look like your own website to reinforce company branding, as well as create links to all your social media, websites, mailing lists, job alerts and other online initiatives.

PS: Get ready for Apsearch. Coming soon from idibu.…
