Driving Daxtra forward – masters of creating order from chaos
It takes a deal of experience to understand how that data fits together, how it shifts, how it moves, how it morphs over time. Daxtra have that experience.”
Steve: You’ve just joined Daxtra, how do you plan to drive them drive forward?
Toby: I’ve known Daxtra for a very long time. Their technology fundamentally takes unstructured data and makes sense of it, really whether a CV or other unstructured job related data.
It takes a deal of experience to understand how that data fits together, how it shifts, how it moves, how it morphs over time. Daxtra have that experience. And I think from what I just said about what’s happening in the market in terms of these huge data sets – they’ve never been bigger and they’re set to grow exponentially.
Standing on that platform of experience, I think Daxtra are really well placed to go forward and use that experience and grow bigger and better products to solve some of those challenges.
The CRM recruitment systems have a more generalized focus – so they’re less able to solve those problems, therefore it’s up to niche businesses such as Daxtra to do so.

You become this huge juggernaut that is quite difficult to change direction, both from a bureaucracy point of view and legacy client demands. So you need to maintain a bit of that small business nimbleness to stay out in front of the game!
